Brake Pads

Brembo F50 calipers taken off the Renault Megane RS and rebuilt from the ground up, set up as a plug and play front brake upgrade for the Honda NSX NA1 and NA2 and the Honda S2000 AP1 and AP2.

Every caliper is stripped before it ships. Pistons inside and out, internal passages, seals and paint are all redone. This is a full rebuild, not a used part with a wipe down. More on where these calipers come from in why a Renault caliper ends up on a Honda NSX.

Why the Renault caliper and not a standard F50

It runs the same pad as a standard F50, so pad choice and replacement cost are unchanged. What differs is the hardware around that pad.

  • More piston area. Larger pistons push the same pad harder for the same line pressure, so you get more clamping force out of the same pedal.
  • Smaller caliper body. The casting takes up less room behind the wheel than a standard F50.

That second point is the reason this kit exists for these two cars. The NSX and the S2000 are both tight behind the front wheel, and plenty of big brake kits simply will not go in without changing wheels. A more compact caliper widens the range of wheels that clear it, which means you can keep the wheels you already own.

Lead time

Built to order, around 60 days from order to dispatch. Made to order items are treated as pre orders under our terms.

Wheel clearance is better than a standard F50 setup, but it is still worth checking. Clearance comes down to spoke profile rather than diameter alone. Email your wheel model, size and offset to sales@dream-performance.com and we will confirm before you order.

Warranty & Product Use Terms Warranty Policy 
Unless otherwise stated, all products we sell are brand new and come with the manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase, such as order number or invoice.

Products purchased second-hand or through unauthorised channels are not covered by any warranty.

Not Covered Under Warranty or Returns
Once a product has been installed or used, it is deemed accepted by the buyer in its current condition. Any subsequent damage, defect, or performance issue is the buyer’s responsibility. Dream Performance will not be liable and does not provide returns, exchanges or warranty support in such cases.

Damage resulting from DIY installations, or installations performed by unqualified mechanics or non-standard workshops, is not covered by any warranty.

Items that are not faulty, or that can no longer be considered brand new due to installation or use, are not eligible for return. All electrical products, as well as items used for racing, off-road, or modifications not approved for public road use, carry no warranty whatsoever.

If you discover a product defect before installation or use, please contact us immediately with photos. Follow our return process; return shipping costs are borne by the buyer. Once confirmed to be a valid product defect, we will arrange a replacement.
