Honda did not carpet the whole FL5 footwell. The area beside the clutch, where your left foot rests and where you brace under load, is bare plastic. It collects dirt, scuffs from shoe soles and eventually marks that do not come out.
What it covers
- The uncarpeted section beside the clutch pedal on the driver side
- The dead pedal surround, where a left foot sits for most of a drive
- Sits alongside the floor mat rather than replacing any part of it
Fitment
- Honda Civic Type R FL5, 2022 onward
- Also suits the FL1 hatch and DE5 Integra Type S, which share the footwell
- Cut to the FL5 shape, so it finishes flush against the carpet edge instead of overlapping it
Why bother
This is a small part that protects a spot you cannot easily clean or replace. On a car people keep, an unmarked footwell is one of the details that shows the car was looked after.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth. Lift out to vacuum underneath when you do the mats.

Warranty & Product Use Terms Warranty Policy
Unless otherwise stated, all products we sell are brand new and come with the manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase, such as order number or invoice.
Products purchased second-hand or through unauthorised channels are not covered by any warranty.
Not Covered Under Warranty or Returns
Once a product has been installed or used, it is deemed accepted by the buyer in its current condition. Any subsequent damage, defect, or performance issue is the buyer’s responsibility. Dream Performance will not be liable and does not provide returns, exchanges or warranty support in such cases.
Damage resulting from DIY installations, or installations performed by unqualified mechanics or non-standard workshops, is not covered by any warranty.
Items that are not faulty, or that can no longer be considered brand new due to installation or use, are not eligible for return. All electrical products, as well as items used for racing, off-road, or modifications not approved for public road use, carry no warranty whatsoever.
If you discover a product defect before installation or use, please contact us immediately with photos. Follow our return process; return shipping costs are borne by the buyer. Once confirmed to be a valid product defect, we will arrange a replacement.
